The Bob Hawke Beer & Leisure Centre

The Bob Hawke Beer & Leisure Centre is located on Enmore Road in Marrickville. This establishment serves as the flagship venue for Hawke’s Brewing Co., offering a range of beers brewed on the premises. The interior design references traditional Australian club culture from the 1980s, including a dedicated pool room and memorabilia. Visitors can access the venue easily from the nearby Sydenham Station, which provides transport links to the rest of Sydney. The venue includes a bistro known as Lucky Prawn, which provides a menu inspired by classic Australian-Chinese cuisine. Patrons can choose from various seating areas, including the Public Bar and the Sanctuary Cove lounge area. The space accommodates local community gatherings and provides a setting for casual social interactions. As a prominent fixture in the Marrickville industrial precinct, the centre contributes to the established craft beer circuit within the Inner West region.
