Modus Merewether

Modus Merewether serves as a central hub for craft beer production and social dining in the Newcastle West region. The venue operates within a high-ceilinged, industrial-style building constructed with sustainable materials such as hempcrete. Guests can observe the brewing process directly from the dining area, which features multiple bars and an extensive tap list. The kitchen provides a variety of food options, including burgers, tacos, and shared plates designed to complement the core and limited-release beer ranges. Situated near the Newcastle Interchange, this establishment caters to both residents and visitors looking for a contemporary brewery experience. The site includes dedicated spaces for private functions and a retail section for takeaway cans and merchandise. Its proximity to the city centre makes it a convenient stop for those exploring the local precinct. The facility prioritises environmentally conscious operations, utilising solar energy and rainwater harvesting systems to support its brewing requirements and daily hospitality services.
