Allora Pool

Allora Pool serves as a key recreational hub for the community in Ellinthorp and the surrounding Southern Downs. The facility includes a standard outdoor swimming pool designed for both lap swimming and general leisure. A dedicated children's pool with overhead shading allows families with young children to enjoy the water safely during the summer months. On-site amenities include change rooms, showers, and grassy areas suitable for picnics or resting between swims. Located near the historic Glengallan Homestead, this venue hosts local school swimming carnivals and community fitness programs throughout the warmer seasons. The pool maintains a focus on water safety and provides a supervised environment for all ages. Its proximity to regional centres makes it a convenient stop for those travelling through the Darling Downs. The grounds are maintained to ensure a clean and functional space for regular patrons and visitors looking for outdoor exercise or heat relief.
