Briggs Road Sporting Complex

Briggs Road Sporting Complex serves as a primary outdoor recreation hub in Brassall, catering to a wide range of athletic disciplines. The facility features a high-quality synthetic athletics track and multiple grass fields primarily used for rugby league matches and training sessions. Managed by the local council, the site includes spectator seating, changing rooms, and canteen facilities to support large-scale regional competitions. It functions as the home ground for several Ipswich sports clubs, offering a consistent venue for both seasonal fixtures and one-off community events. Located a short distance from the Bremer River, the complex provides accessible sporting infrastructure for residents across the western corridor. The venue accommodates school sports carnivals, club championships, and individual training requirements throughout the year. Its strategic position within Brassall allows for easy transit for visiting teams from surrounding South East Queensland areas. The integration of modern lighting systems ensures the fields remain operational for night games, supporting the local sporting culture and providing a reliable space for physical activity and competitive play.
