About Brisbane Organic Growers Inc.
Brisbane Organic Growers Inc. operates as a community organisation dedicated to promoting organic gardening and sustainable agriculture in the Albion area. The group facilitates regular meetings and events where members exchange seeds, plants, and practical advice on cultivating fruit and vegetables without synthetic chemicals. These sessions often include guest speakers who share expertise on soil health, pest management, and seasonal planting tailored to the local Queensland climate.
Located in the suburb of Albion, the organisation serves as a resource for those looking to improve their home gardening skills and reduce their environmental impact. The meeting venue is situated a short distance from the Albion Park Paceway, making it accessible for residents across the inner north of Brisbane. By fostering a network of local producers and hobbyists, the association supports the regional food system and encourages biodiversity through traditional growing methods and community engagement.
