About Casino Memorial Olympic Pool
Casino Memorial Olympic Pool serves as a primary aquatic hub for residents in the Richmond Valley region, including those living in nearby Lower Dyraaba. The facility features a standard fifty-metre outdoor pool suitable for competitive training and lap swimming during the warmer months. Complementing the main pool is a dedicated toddlers' splash area with overhead shade, ensuring a safe environment for young children to develop water confidence.
Located a short distance from the banks of the Richmond River, the complex also includes an indoor heated pool that allows for year-round exercise and hydrotherapy sessions. Professional coaching and learn-to-swim programmes operate on-site to cater to various skill levels within the community. The grounds offer barbecue facilities and seating areas, making it a functional space for group gatherings and school swimming carnivals.
