Childers Police Station

Childers Police Station serves as the primary hub for law enforcement and public safety within the Childers community. Located in the heart of the town, the station manages emergency responses, patrols local roads, and provides administrative services such as weapons licensing and police checks. The officers focus on maintaining order and supporting the safety of both the permanent population and the many seasonal workers who frequent the region for agricultural work. Situated along the Bruce Highway, the station is a key landmark for those travelling through the Wide Bay-Burnett area. It is positioned near the historic Childers Court House, forming part of the town’s significant government precinct. The station operates as a point of contact for lost property, crime prevention advice, and general public enquiries, ensuring that both locals and tourists have access to professional support while exploring the hinterland and local heritage sites.
