Event Cinemas

Event Cinemas operates as a primary entertainment hub within the Buddina area, situated inside the Kawana Shoppingworld complex. The facility houses several screens equipped with modern projection technology and sound systems. Patrons can choose between standard seating, recliners, or the dedicated V-Max and Gold Class auditoriums. The venue manages a schedule that includes the latest Hollywood blockbusters, independent films, and special event screenings throughout the year. Visitors to the Buddina location often combine a movie session with a visit to the nearby Point Cartwright Lighthouse. The cinema provides accessible facilities, including lift access and hearing assistance systems. On-site kiosks and a traditional candy bar serve various snacks and beverages. Its location within a major shopping centre ensures ample parking and proximity to public transport links for those travelling from surrounding Sunshine Coast suburbs.
