About Gold Coast Aquatic Centre
The Gold Coast Aquatic Centre serves as a primary hub for aquatic sports and community recreation in the Australia Fair area. This facility features an array of heated pools, including a ten-lane fifty-metre competition pool and a dedicated diving pool with platform heights up to ten metres. Visitors have access to a fully equipped gymnasium, dry land training areas, and a cafe. The centre accommodates public lap swimming, learn-to-swim programs, and high-performance training sessions throughout the week.
Located directly adjacent to the Broadwater Parklands, the venue provides a central point for fitness and leisure activities on the northern end of the Gold Coast. Its proximity to public transport and local shopping facilities makes it accessible for daily exercise or weekend family outings. The centre maintains high standards for water quality and safety, supporting both casual visitors and organised sporting clubs. Facilities include accessible change rooms, shaded spectator seating, and ample parking spaces for patrons.
