Impress Printmakers Studio & Gallery

Impress Printmakers Studio & Gallery operates as an artist-run non-profit organisation within the heritage-listed Kedron Substation No. 8 in Wooloowin. This facility serves as a technical hub for various printmaking disciplines, including etching, lithography, and screen printing. The studio provides members with access to professional presses and equipment required for high-quality production, while the gallery space hosts a rotating calendar of exhibitions that showcase works from local and national practitioners. Located a short distance from the recreational spaces of Kalinga Park, the studio encourages community engagement through a structured program of weekend and evening workshops. These sessions cater to all skill levels, offering instruction in both traditional and contemporary methods. Visitors to the Wooloowin precinct can view current collections during gallery hours or participate in scheduled events that focus on the technical and creative aspects of the printmaking craft.
