Queensland Police Legacy

Queensland Police Legacy serves as a structured support network for the families of deceased Queensland police officers. Operating from their headquarters in Brisbane City, the organisation manages diverse welfare initiatives designed to alleviate financial pressure and provide long-term stability. Their primary focus remains on the wellbeing of spouses and the education of dependent children, ensuring they receive necessary resources following the loss of a family member in the line of duty or other circumstances. The office is situated in the heart of the central business district, positioned within walking distance of the Queen Street Mall. This location allows for access for members and stakeholders visiting the city. Through community fundraising and managed trust funds, the organisation delivers critical aid including tertiary education scholarships and holiday programs. Their presence in the state capital ensures they remain connected to the broader Queensland Police Service community while delivering structured assistance to those in need.
