Queensland Police Union of Employees

The Queensland Police Union of Employees operates as the primary industrial body representing the interests of police officers throughout the state. Located in Brisbane City, the organisation focuses on securing fair wages, maintaining safe working conditions, and providing essential legal protections for its members. It serves as a central hub for industrial relations and policy development, ensuring that the voices of law enforcement professionals are heard at governmental and departmental levels. Situated near the Treasury Brisbane building, the union offers a range of services designed to support the well-being and professional integrity of the police force. Members access specialised advice regarding workplace disputes, health and safety regulations, and career progression. By maintaining a presence in the heart of the capital, the union facilitates direct engagement with legislative bodies to influence policing standards and officer safety protocols across Queensland.
