Ruffles Road Reserve (West and East)

Ruffles Road Reserve in Willow Vale provides outdoor space across its West and East sections for picnics and social functions. The area consists of open grassed fields and native bushland, offering multiple spots for visitors to set up portable dining equipment. Large trees provide natural shade across the grounds, supporting use during warmer parts of the day. This location functions as a community hub for informal gatherings where guests provide their own food and beverages in an outdoor setting. Located a short distance from the Pimpama River, the reserve offers a quiet alternative to more developed metropolitan parks. The divided layout allows different groups to occupy the space simultaneously without overcrowding. Willow Vale residents use these facilities for weekend recreation and organised group events that require significant ground space. The environment maintains a focus on the natural landscape, providing a basic but effective setting for outdoor meals and activities in the Gold Coast hinterland.
