Tenterfield Endurance Riding Club Inc

Tenterfield Endurance Riding Club Inc operates within the rural landscape of Timbarra, focusing on long-distance equestrian sports and community events. The club manages trail rides that utilise the natural terrain of the New England region, offering participants a structured environment for endurance testing. Facilities often include designated areas for camping and caravans, catering to riders who travel from across the state for multi-day competitions. These events allow members to develop their horsemanship skills while navigating varied elevations and bushland tracks. Located near the Boonoo Boonoo National Park, the club provides a base for exploring the unique granite landscapes and wilderness areas of Northern New South Wales. The trails often cross through private properties and state forests, requiring careful navigation and animal welfare management. Visitors and participants benefit from a community-driven atmosphere that supports the growth of endurance riding as a sport. The location serves as a practical stop for those transporting horses through the Tenterfield district.
