The Artist Cafe and Gallery

The Artist Cafe and Gallery serves the Mitchelton community as a dual-purpose venue. It functions as both a professional exhibition space for regional artists and a destination for casual dining. Visitors can view a variety of visual media, including paintings and sculptures, while accessing the cafe menu. The establishment prioritises local talent, often updating its displays to reflect current trends in the Brisbane art scene. Located near the Blackwood Street precinct, this venue provides an accessible cultural experience outside of the city centre. The gallery layout allows patrons to move through the exhibition rooms or sit within the cafe area. It supports the local economy by providing a platform for creators to sell their work to the public. The facility accommodates individual visitors and small groups interested in exploring Mitchelton’s creative offerings while enjoying a coffee or meal.
