TradeCoast Central Heritage Park

TradeCoast Central Heritage Park provides a historic setting within the industrial district of Eagle Farm. The site preserves several significant structures, including the remains of the Eagle Farm Women's Prison and the World War II Allison Engine Testing Stands. Visitors explore a series of walking trails and interpretive panels that detail the area's documented convict and aviation history. The park offers public green space and picnic facilities suitable for those looking for a quiet lunch break or an outdoor dining spot. Located a short distance from the Brisbane Airport, the park serves as a cultural hub for the local business community and weekend visitors. The integration of modern landscaping with preserved structures allows for an educational experience in an open outdoor environment. It offers a distinct alternative to standard urban parks, focusing on the preservation of Queensland's industrial and social past while providing accessible amenities for people visiting the precinct.
