Truffle Discover Centre Stanthorpe

The Truffle Discover Centre operates as a dedicated agritourism destination located in The Summit, within the Granite Belt region. This facility focuses on the production and education of French Perigord truffles, offering visitors a chance to learn about the complexities of truffle farming. During the harvest season, the centre provides interactive experiences where guests observe the process of locating and extracting these fungi from the soil. The onsite retail shop stocks various infusions, oils, and salts crafted from estate-grown ingredients. Situated a short drive from the iconic Big Apple landmark, the centre serves as a key stop for travellers exploring the agricultural diversity of the Southern Downs. The local climate and soil conditions in The Summit are conducive to truffle growth, making this one of the few locations in Queensland where such produce thrives. Visitors can access the facility to source fresh truffles when in season or participate in guided sessions to understand the grading and culinary uses of the harvest.
