About Warwick Indoor Recreation and Aquatic Centre
Warwick Indoor Recreation and Aquatic Centre serves as a primary hub for health and fitness serving the Womina locality and the broader Southern Downs region. The facility houses a 25-metre heated indoor pool, a leisure pool with water features, and a dedicated hydrotherapy pool designed for rehabilitation and gentle exercise. Visitors can access a range of cardiovascular and resistance equipment in the gymnasium or participate in scheduled group fitness sessions led by qualified instructors.
Located a short distance from the historic Warwick Railway Station, the centre supports diverse sporting interests through its multi-purpose indoor courts. These spaces accommodate basketball, netball, and volleyball, providing a climate-controlled environment for local competitions and casual play. The venue also offers swimming lessons for various age groups and crèche services to assist parents during their workouts. It remains a central destination for residents seeking reliable recreational infrastructure in regional Queensland.
