Year-end accounts are more than an ATO compliance box — done well, they turn 12 months of transactions into a diagnostic you can use to plan the year ahead. TaxAssist Oxley prepares annual financial statements for private companies, discretionary and unit trusts, partnerships and self-managed super funds across south-west Brisbane.

We prepare a full profit-and-loss statement, balance sheet and statement of changes in equity to Australian Accounting Standards, reconcile every account back to the bank, run depreciation schedules for plant, motor vehicles and rental properties, and issue signed director's declarations where required. Financials are formatted for ATO lodgement, for bank finance applications and for succession or valuation events.

Where we've been your bookkeeper through the year, year-end takes days rather than weeks. Where we haven't, we can clean up records kept elsewhere and still lodge on time. All work is fixed-fee, quoted after a free 20-minute consultation.

Frequently asked

How much do year-end accounts cost?

A small company with clean Xero data typically starts from $1,200; more complex structures with multi-entity consolidations are quoted after a scope review. We always confirm the fee before we begin.

Do you lodge with ASIC as well as the ATO?

Yes. We prepare and lodge annual company statements with ASIC, maintain the corporate register and act as your ASIC agent if you'd like us to.

Can you prepare accounts for bank finance?

Yes. We format financials the way lenders want to see them, and can also produce projections and interpretation letters to support the application.
